Global Leader in Integrative Medicine Launches Resource Website for Clinicians and Consumers

The IntegrativeLife.us website from Dr. Bernardo Merizalde, MD, offers multidisciplinary patient-centered care resources for medical providers and consumers.

LAFAYETTE HILL, PA, March 29, 2022 — For over 40 years, Bernardo Merizalde, MD, DHt, ABIHM has been a leader in combining conventional health care methodologies with alternative healing and therapeutic modalities in his practice.  He has now expanded it by launching IntegrativeLife.us, a website filled with integrative care resources for medical providers and consumers.

Dr. Merizalde is an internationally recognized leader in Integrative Care.  He is General Secretary for the International Homeopathic Medical League; Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine; and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Homeotherapeutics.  At Philadelphia’s Thomas Jefferson University, he is Assistant Clinical Professor at Department of Integrative Medicine and Nutritional Sciences.

“Integrative medicine is putting together the best of conventional medicine and traditional approaches that have been around for thousands of years,” says Dr. Merizalde. “It offers a greater variety of tools to treat people that are suffering.”

Mind-Body Medicine Advances

On June 10, Dr. Merizalde will be presenting on “Integrating Mind-Body Practices into the Office Visit,” at the Advances in Mind-Body Medicine Conference sponsored by Thomas Jefferson University.

Through his proprietary research and longstanding practice approach, Dr. Merizalde learned the value of treating the whole person rather than zeroing in on just the perceived problem.  The four pillars of his practice are: Functional Medicine, Mind-Body, Nutrition, and Homeopathy, and there are 10 Therapeutic Modalities featured.

For young physicians, residents, and fellows – particularly in fields such as internal medicine, psychiatry, family care, and physical rehabilitation – integrative medicine can significantly expand treatment options and way to advance the current medical model to one that is more humane, clinically sound and cost-effective.

A Resource for Physicians

To that end, his new website is intended as a resource for both conventional medicine physicians and integrative practitioners, as well as for those who are interested in learning a more holistic approach to medicine.

“Clinicians interested in coming into integrated medicine come to me because I offer executive coaching on these approaches,” says Dr. Merizalde.  “My program provides what they need to learn and grow in their field as practitioners and how to incorporate therapeutic modalities into their practice to benefit their patients.”
